The owners wanted a more sociable, usable kitchen that still felt right for a cottage built around the 1600s.
The finished kitchen now gives the couple a place to cook, sit, talk and enjoy the house properly.

Blue Handleless Kitchen
Faberstown, Wiltshire
The old kitchen no longer suited the owner or the way the room needed to work. It felt dark, the finishes were dated, and the storage was not doing enough.
Blue and grey handleless cabinetry, marble-effect quartz worktops, grey square tiles and soft LED lighting gave the room the sleek finish this owner had imagined.
Matte Black Family Kitchen
East Anton, Hampshire
There was limited worktop space, limited storage and no real zoning. The rest of the room had space around the dining area, but the actual kitchen felt more like a kitchenette within a much larger kitchen living space.
The kitchen still feels minimal and controlled, but it has been designed around real family life. The messier parts of the day have somewhere to go. The services have been dealt with properly. The utility works harder.
